Yes — all three daily meals are included in every Gaokao package at the Boutique Hotel. On regular days, breakfast opens at 07:00. During exam days (June 7–9), breakfast opens at 06:30 — 30 minutes earlier than usual — to ensure students have time to eat and arrive at the exam venue with plenty of time to spare. Lunch and dinner are served as part of the brain-focus menu.

At Latte Mansion (which has no on-site restaurant), we partner with 2–3 local breakfast vendors on Daguan Food Street to deliver a pre-packed “Gaokao Breakfast Box” directly to your room by 06:45. The box includes eggs, congee, steamed buns, and fresh fruit.

Yes — late checkout until 14:30 is included for all Gaokao package bookings. After the final Gaokao exam (typically ending around 17:00 on June 9), students are exhausted. We want them to rest properly without the stress of checking out by the standard 12:00 noon time. Just let the front desk know your approximate departure time.

Our Gaokao cancellation policy is designed to protect both guests and the hotel:

• Before June 6, 2026: Free cancellation — no charge (1 day before Gaokao)
• After June 6: 50% of the first night’s rate charged
• No-show on June 7: 100% of the first night’s rate charged

We strongly recommend booking early and cancelling free if plans change — our Boutique Hotel Gaokao rooms on the Silent Floors are limited and tend to sell out quickly in May.

Don’t panic — we have an emergency station at the front desk. We keep a printer stocked with paper specifically for this purpose. If your child forgets their admission ticket (准考证), bring a digital copy and our front desk team will print it immediately — no charge. We also have spare 2B pencils, erasers, face masks, disposable rain ponchos and umbrellas (Kunming enters its rainy season in June) available at the front desk.

Yes — most Gaokao guests are parent-child pairs. All our room types comfortably accommodate 2 people. Our family rooms and twin rooms are particularly popular with parents staying overnight. The Boutique Hotel’s Designer Rooms also have a sofa bed option. Adding an extra person beyond the standard 2-person package is subject to availability — please mention your requirements when booking.
